    Jetts Fitness

24-hour gym chain with affordable pricing. No-frills approach — good equipment, basic facilities. Excellent for budget-conscious fitness enthusiasts.

    20+ branches

Jetts Fitness is an Australian gym chain that has found significant success in Bangkok by offering something the market badly needed: a clean, well-equipped gym at genuinely affordable prices with 24-hour access. With over 20 branches across Bangkok, Jetts has become the go-to option for budget-conscious fitness enthusiasts who want reliable equipment and a no-nonsense environment without paying premium prices for amenities they do not use.

    Facilities and Equipment

Jetts operates on a no-frills philosophy. Each branch offers a solid selection of cardio machines (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals), a functional free weight area with dumbbells, barbells, squat racks, and benches, plus cable machines and basic resistance equipment. The equipment quality is good — not the absolute latest Technogym models found at Virgin Active, but well-maintained and more than adequate for effective training. What you will not find: swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, group fitness studios (at most branches), or extensive locker room amenities.

The 24-hour access is genuinely useful in Bangkok, where many people work irregular hours or prefer to train very early or very late to avoid the heat. Key card entry allows access at any time, with CCTV security throughout.

    Atmosphere and Training Environment

Jetts attracts a no-pretense crowd. The atmosphere is focused and practical — people come to train and leave. This is not a social gym or a lifestyle brand, which is exactly what many members prefer. The branches are generally clean, air-conditioned, and well-lit. Music plays at moderate volume. Peak hours (6:00-8:00 AM and 5:00-8:00 PM) can see some equipment competition at smaller branches, but the 24-hour access means you can always find a quiet time to train.

    Class Offerings

Most Jetts branches offer limited group fitness classes, typically small-format sessions like circuit training or stretching led by on-site trainers. However, group classes are not the reason to join Jetts. If group fitness is important to you, Fitness First or Absolute You will serve you better. Jetts is fundamentally a self-directed training environment.

    Membership Options and Pricing Tips

This is where Jetts shines. Monthly memberships run 1,200-2,000 baht — roughly 40-60 percent less than Fitness First and a fraction of Virgin Active's pricing. Most memberships include multi-branch access, meaning you can train at any Jetts location in Bangkok. Registration fees are minimal and often waived during promotions. No long-term commitment is typically required, with month-to-month options available.

For the price of a single month at Virgin Active, you can get 3-4 months at Jetts. If you are a self-motivated trainer who knows your way around a gym and does not need group classes, pools, or premium amenities, this pricing difference is difficult to ignore.

Location and How to Get There

With over 20 branches across Bangkok, Jetts has excellent geographical coverage. Locations span from central Sukhumvit to suburban areas, often in community malls and mixed-use buildings. While not always directly connected to BTS or MRT stations like mall-based gyms, most branches are easily accessible by motorbike taxi or a short walk from public transport. The wide branch network means you are likely to find one close to either your home or office.

    Tips for Foreigners

Passport is required for registration. English proficiency among staff varies by location — central branches tend to have better English-speaking staff. The gym environment is straightforward enough that language is rarely an issue once you are registered. Download the Jetts app for branch information, operating details, and any class schedules. If you plan to train at odd hours, verify that your preferred branch has reliable 24-hour access — some newer locations may have temporary adjustments.

    Comparison with Alternatives

Jetts is the best budget option in Bangkok for gym access. Compared to Fitness First, you save significant money but lose group classes, pools, and premium facilities. Compared to condo gyms (which many Bangkok apartments include), Jetts offers far better equipment and more space. The 24-hour access gives it an edge over every competitor in this price range. Jetts is ideal for experienced gym-goers who train independently and want affordable, reliable access to good equipment without paying for services they do not use.
